xander cocked his head slightly at those words. they were a little too cryptic for him to make out.
what does that mean? he inquired seriously. it was surprising that xander, for once, had a legitimate interest in what lynx had to say. in the meantime, it distracted him long enough to keep from crying. |

i know i'm not dreaming. this is reality, he insisted. i just... he paused in his writing, trying to find the right angsty words because we all know that xander's mother tongue is angst. ...hate it, he finished. |

hanging his head, xander heaved a deep, shaky sigh. if personal rainclouds existed, his would be a hurricane right now. it seemed like no matter how hard he tried, he always lost.
a faint whimper escaped him. dealing is hard, he stated. sam laid her head on the chair of the loveseat and whined for him, so he scratched her on the head distractedly. |

dan isn't coming so lynx can stfu about him.
xander seemed to take that in for a few seconds, but as always, he was a skeptic in the end.
how long is it until "eventually?" it isn't like i want to be miserable, lynx. i try to take your advice. i try every day, he admitted. but i'm still... depressed, mute, probably insane... i want to get fixed, but i don't feel like anything works... |
