ah. religion. that wasn't as bad as it could be. at least it wasn't the normal bs like "b0x0rz or breefz?" it required some thought, he realized after a moment, but it wouldn't kill him.
well, i believe in god. i was raised to, at least. i didn't really ever go to church, though. i guess you could call me some kind of screwed up non-denominational christian. god, heaven, hell, whatever. he shrugged slightly, conveniently failing to mention the one book he always had in his inside jacket pocket; a small bible, in german, that had been in his family for five generations, not counting his own.

"What do you think about politics then, Xander?" He was going to hit this subject while the uncomfortable subjects were being thrown out. Next one? SEX! What else would be as disturbing for the young man?

xander wasn't necessarily "uncomfortable" about the topic of religion. he just didn't see what was in it for him. the term "hellhound" existed for a reason, after all.
he shrugged at the next question. same thing everyone else does. politicians are just about as human as... the brunet paused here, looked away, perhaps slightly ashamed of his next words, ...as psychiatrists.

Actually looks hurt at those words that Xander wrote down. The blonde's gaze looked down and he signed softly, "...What a nice opnion you have, Xander." Voice was fully of gloom, it was obvious to anyone that Lynx was upset.
A sigh passed his lips, and he shifted backwards. "Any other opinions about me or my profession that I need to know about?"

at first, xander began to wince in guilt--but why? katze wasn't any different from the others. sure, he came up with something "fun" to do, but...in the end, it was just a way for the doctor to get what he wanted. if he didn't give a shit, why should xander?
you know what, he responded with a scowl. i've told you before not to take it personally. if you want to, it's your own damn fault, and don't try to throw me on a guilt trip over it. i don't care about you any more than you do me. |

Now he looked extremely hurt by those words. A sigh escaped his lips and he turned away a bit. "...But... ...I do care, Xander." He looked back up with such honest eyes, no deciet, no lies... The poor dear really did care.
"I want it, so one day... You're perfectly fine, and can live a normal life... That's my goal, and that's why I became a therapist, with my degrees. Your words are quite hurtful, Xander."

there was absolutely no trace of deception in katze's eyes. for that reason, xander couldn't hold his gaze. he refused to believe that anyone, especially this "doctor," cared about him. when his family and his friends didn't, why should strangers?
lynx wasn't a stranger to xander anymore, and he knew it. that only made him more angry.
you find a "normal life" for someone like me and i'll be glad to have it! he practically snarled back at the doctor. but as far as i'm concerned, such things don't exist. if you "care" so much about me, don't lie to me and don't tell me that something imaginary is attainable! |

you're forgetting the most crucial detail. you're human. you're normal. even if you don't have any material possessions, you still have your humanity. maybe i haven't looked hard enough, but i've never seen any werewolf colonies.
xander is just so full of it. he could totally argue with a brick wall. the wall would probably win, though. |
