•• Diesel is a tall, lanky sort of guy who inconsistently shaves and usually has stubble lining his face. He is missing his right eye and is albino, which is the cause of his nearly white hair and his extremely pale skin. His hair is usually medium in length, and rather wispy and thin. Sometimes, depending on his mood, he may choose to cut it, the end result looking like a two-year-old had done it. He is rather underweight looking, except for the fact that his belly has a sort of pot-belly look to it, but that is the only fat part on his body. He looks like the sort of guy you’d expect to see riding a motorcycle and doing all sorts of reckless things, and like he wouldn’t hesitate to cuss you out. His expression is generally one that seems to say 'does it look like I give a shit?', and there never seems to be a time when at least one cigarette isn’t sticking out of his mouth. His general clothing is an open unzipped black leather jacket without a shirt underneath and a pair of faded jeans, and black leather cowboy boots. Unfortunately, when he goes outside the Criminal Building, he has to wear an orange suit, and so he’ll keep his upper body unzipped.
•Personality•
•• At first sight, you think of Diesel as an asshole who doesn’t give a hoot what anyone thinks and who doesn’t give much of a shit about anything himself. That’s basically what he is. Diesel is a bit of a rule-breaker, not hesitating to perform hazardous stunts and piss people off. He thinks people’s opinions are stupid and generally wont acknowledge or think highly of anyone. He’s often found playing poker and such, as he is addicted to gambling. Diesel has also been known to give drugs to children—he doesn’t have the same idea of discipline as everyone else. These attributes have often caused him to get in trouble, and are basically the reason for him having ended up at the Quack Shack.
Although it may seem like he’s completely heartless, he did use to care. He even had a girlfriend once, but he’s extremely touchy about that subject and usually will do a good job of changing the subject. If you manage to interest or impress him, Diesel can turn out to be a pretty fun guy to hang around. Usually he wont become very attached to anyone, but if for some reason he does, he’ll become extremely clingy and protective. If he cares about you, consider yourself a lucky person, because it doesn’t happen often. He’s got a soft spot for little kids, especially.

• History: Diesel is an albino who was born into a family that hadn’t intended to give birth. His parents, two teenagers that had had sex at a young age—16 years old—had debated whether or not to have an abortion, but eventually decided to go through with it. However, when they found out of his poor health, they refused to take him home with them and gave him up to the hospital, telling them to use him as a test subject for whatever they needed. The hospital had no idea what to do with this child, but eventually decided to go through with some testing. The child was never named properly; the doctors named called him T10284, as that was his ID number that was entered for tests.
For the first years of his life, many tests were run on his albino affliction to help further research, and during the testing they also found out that he had two Y chromosomes, and would be unable to give birth to any children. Because of this new discovery, they kept him there even longer, running many tests. By the age of three, the child was extremely familiar with needles and seeing his blood rush into tubes. The doctors had meant to put him up for adoption, but the whole issue seemed to be lacking the proper fuel for that to happen.
Halfway through his fourth year of life, a tumor was discovered in his right eye, and if it wasn’t removed he would die within a year. They set up a date for the surgery, and on that day they operated. Everything seemed to be going great.
But then, the child unexpectedly went into a coma. The doctors couldn’t figure out what caused it, and even though they were able to successfully remove the eye, the boy remained in a coma for the next two years. The hospital had determined that no more tests were to be run on the boy, and that when and if he came out of a coma, he would be put up for adoption.
At six years of age, the child came out of his coma and was put up for adoption. No one wanted to take in a child with so many problems, but finally one day an old married couple took him in. They seemed great at first, all smiles and such, but it turned out his new ‘dad’ was a bit too friendly. He would constantly be touching the boy, on his head, massaging his back, on the cheek. The child didn’t know what to think of this, but considered it normal.
When he was in seventh grade, his father raped him.
On that night he had come home from school to find that his foster mother was out for the night to play cards with her friends. Only the old man was there. The night had gone pretty much like a normal one, until his ‘dad’ suddenly was unbuttoning and pulling down his pants. Next thing the kid knew, he was being brutally abused in every way and shape imaginable. His ‘father’ turned out to be a child molester, and one that just so happened to be wanted throughout the city for multiple child rapes.
After his ‘father’ was through with him, the boy wouldn’t tell anyone what had happened. Not even his closest friends at school. Nobody. Not even his foster mother knew what had happened between them. His ‘dad’ acted as if it had never happened, and the kid was too violated to be able to talk about it. He started denying himself that it had ever happened, but he had nightmares about it every night.
When he became a freshman in high school, he met a pretty girl, and fell in love with her. She loved him back, and the next thing he knew they were going out. They became inseparable, sharing all their secrets, but of coarse he never told her about what his father had done to him. He’d never tell anyone. She even gave him a name—his foster parents had named him Chase, but he didn’t consider it his name. She called him Diesel, and from then on that’s what everyone knew him by.
Except his foster parents. They didn’t know about his girl, they didn’t know about his name. Diesel was intent upon keeping everything secret. He planned on keeping it that way, them never knowing, but by the age of 16 he had decided he would run away from home with his girl. They would live together, and he’d get a job to pay for everything they needed, and they’d have children.
The running away was successful. They moved to another state, and were all set up. She seemed really excited to have children. Obsessive, practically. So Diesel decided one night he would make that happen. But it never worked. He hadn’t known that he was unable to have children, but when he went to the doctor to find out what the problem was, it became all too clear. His girl was devastated. Suddenly, she wasn’t showing as much interest in him as usual. Then one day, she disappeared.
Diesel thought she might have just slept over with one of her friends, at first, but when he called and found out that they hadn’t seen her for a while, he grew worried. A week later, a letter arrived in the mail, and it was from her, telling him all he ever needed to know. She had abandoned him. Betrayed him. All he had worked for was swept away in the time it took for him to read the letter. He was furious. He tore the letter up.
A month later, Diesel had changed drastically. He had started smoking, and quickly accelerated to where he was smoking a pack a day, sometimes more than one hanging out of his mouth. He started drinking, and got into a lot of barroom brawls. His personality took a huge turn, too, because he had withdrawn himself from the world, and would piss people off to get them to stay away from him. He’d throw insults like one would breathe air, and he didn’t care what anyone thought. He didn’t care, himself. Some days he drank so much he couldn’t remember what had happened the day after. Sometimes he woke up in alleys, covered in beer bottles and spent cigars. He even dabbled in some drugs, like marijuana, and sold it to children on the streets. When he was drunk, he’d rob stores and drive over the speed limit, and when he was with a group of people he’d even performed armed assaults.
On one of these assaults, during which he was drunk, per usual, he shot a woman. This seemed to snap him out of his clouded thoughts, because he froze up, simply staring at her. The lady mistook his look for the mad determination to kill her, however, and charged him on account of attempted murder. He wasn’t able to escape; the police were there within minutes of him shooting her, as apparently someone had called 911. He was put into jail, where he was convicted of other crimes he had done, such as the selling of drugs, possession of marijuana, breaking and entering, and a whole long list of things. The government decided to send him over to the place known by criminals and patients as the Quack Shack, and he’s been there ever since.
