So guys. Quick announcement thing regarding future plans.
I am probably not the only one severely disappointed in the lack of activity here. It's probably my fault considering I haven't posted an activity check in two months. But, um. Yeah.
I know firsthand, as we all do, how much work was put into the site, and it's really uncool that we let it rot at all. So, I think we should work on fixing it back up again.
That said, I must admit that I will be away from home for the better part of three weeks starting tomorrow. I do not know if I'll have internet access until next Saturday, but I hope to have it while I'm being dragged around Texas. I'll be visiting family and going to my sister's baby shower so I can't guarantee activity even then.
In the meantime, I want us all to get stoked up about helping the site on its way again. Advertise a little if you can, start posting some, at least once a week isn't too much to ask, right? Please let me know in the suggestions board if you have absolutely any concerns, ideas, skins, ads, buttons, boards, problems, suggestions, anything at all that will promote or better the Quack Shack. Don't be afraid to say it if you think we could benefit from it.
On that note, I am thinking about adding another member to the staff, as an admin or as a mod. All you need is a love for QS, basic proboards knowledge, and a desire to help the site grow. You're all already a part of the team, but if you want to move it up a notch, please PM me as soon as you can with basic info. Why you want the job, how you'll be useful, maybe if you've had previous experience. I'm not very picky but previous knowledge of modding is greatly appreciated. I hope to pick new staff by the end of June.
As soon as I get back in the comfort of my own home, as I am an anal little beast, I will work my butt off helping the site get back up on its feet. I'll post one activity check before I go, I'll call it for the month of June, and any character that hasn't posted on that OR the March one by the end of next month will be deleted, so please if you have a character you missed in March but want to keep, remember to include him/her in this month's check.
I love you all, and I thank you so much for all your contribution to the Quack Shack. It would not be what it is today without its members. I hope we can all continue to call it home, and put effort forth to keep it that way. Thank you and good luck!
